Ancient Greeks at Luton Museum
One of the highlights of last week was attending the launch of the new exhibition at Luton’s Wardown Park Museum. The exhibition is about the history and culture of ancient Greeks and it includes some stunning artefacts of great age and beauty.
There is a range of decorated pottery, statues and other objects. These objects are on loan to Luton from the British Museum.
Luton museums have been developing strong links with the British Museum in London over the past few years. Something which I think is of great value. This exhibition builds on the similar ancient Greeks exhibition of last year but will be on a more permanent basis as it will last until December 2012.
I would recommend paying a visit if you can.
