Here is Luton’s celebrity gossip from this morning’s Luton News:

• Front page news as troubled singing star Amy Winehouse is spotted buying a CD of the greatest hits of the famous Luton Girls Choir. Amy’s publicist Shane O’Neill says “I presume she bought it because she liked it”.
• There is shock as it is revealed that British paparazzo boyfriend of Britney Spears, Adnan Ghalib, was a former student of the University of Luton (now called the University of Bedfordshire). But, says the paper, “The University of Bedfordshire would not comment on Mr Ghalib’s involvement with Britney”.

Glamorous or what?
