Some more developments on the issue of the Chagos Islanders. I’ve picked up from Sarah Ludford MEP’s regular email newsletter that there is a petition on the Number 10 website petition thing :

You can help out the campaign yourselves by signing the petition on the Downing Street website at http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/chagosappeal/. It really is one of the most fundamental of campaigns – the right to return home and respect for the rule of law. Further details about this issue are on www.chagossupport.org.uk
