Brighton Conference

Well here I am in Brighton for the Liberal Democrats Autumn conference. Brighton is my favourite conference venue, the weather is sunny, if a bit windy, and i’ve already run across several old friends so I am in a good mood.

It was last year’s conference that provided the main impetus for starting this blog. So this year I am going to try and blog my way through conference. I haven’t tried the Wi–Fi connection in my hotel yet, but I’m writing this on the handy Internet connected computers provided in the main conference centre.

Just after posting this I will be in the main hall to listen to the Local Government debate and am looking forward to the Blog of the Year Awards ceremony this evening.
